Race/ethnicity and genetic ancestry of black patients with asthma do not predict inhaled corticosteroid response

Responsiveness to inhaled corticosteroids (ICSs) was associated with measures of lung function and asthma control and not related to self-reported race/ethnicity or African ancestry, according to results of a study published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
