Obesity, Diabetes Increasingly Problems of American Children

KEY POINT

With more than one-half of adult Americans now considered overweight or obese, it is no surprise that their children are also getting heavier. As with their parents, these kids are at increased risk for a variety of health ailments, especially type 2 diabetes.
