Initiation of HIV Therapy: Choice and Order of Medications Matter

KEY POINT

The choice of agents for initial therapy of HIV infection and the order in which the medications are used makes a difference in patients’ time to virologic or clinical failure, according to two abstracts presented last month at the international AIDS conference in Barcelona, Spain.
