Guidelines for use of aspirin to prevent cardiovascular disease, colorectal cancer

Low-dose daily aspirin is recommended for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and colorectal cancer in adults 50 to 59 years of age who meet select criteria. Its use is an individual choice for those 60 to 69 years of age, according to updated recommendations released by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF).
