Pharmacists key to increasing access to nonprescription syringes, naloxone

Sales of nonprescription syringes were high across pharmacies in Massachusetts, but sales of nonprescription naloxone through standing orders was more limited, suggesting pharmacists and other staff can benefit from additional training in this area, according to results of an observational study published in the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association.
